FIELD: heat engineering. SUBSTANCE: tube bundle with rod-shaped filler is placed in the housing of the apparatus. Some tubes are shorter than the housing and filler protrudes from them from one or two sides. Caps are fitted on the protruding parts of the fillers. Length of caps is lesser than that of the protruding parts of the filler. Placed in the clearances formed between tubes and housing are rod-shaped inserts which may be also placed in the clearances between the tubes inside the bundle. Then housing is crimped till faying of the housing, tubes, inserts and caps has been obtained, after which the filler is melted out. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 4 cl, 3 dwg
