SUBSTANCE: new method prescribes recording uterine artery vaginal Doppler echogram pulse index and determining approach of ovulation according to dynamics of change in magnitude of parameter recorded to make possible obtaining prognostic data on time of onset of ovulation rather than stating the fact of ovulation that has already occurred. EFFECT: markedly higher accuracy of prognosticating onset of ovulation in time which is of critical importance for realization of various programs of combatting sterility. 1 tbl
