SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to obstetrics and gynaecology, and can be used for prediction of pregnancy in women with "poor" response of ovaries to controlled ovarian stimulation. At the first stage, anamnestic data are collected, including data on previous pregnancies and childbirth, diseases and surgical interventions. At the second stage, concentration of nitrogen oxide (NO₂(end) and NO₃) in venous blood serum obtained at the stage of follicle puncture is measured. Further, based on the obtained data, a prognostic index d is calculated by formula. If d>0, pregnancy is predicted as a result of IVF and ET. If d<0, the impossibility of pregnancy is predicted using the patient's own oocytes as a result of the current and subsequent cycles of IVF and ET.

EFFECT: invention enables to predict the possibility of conception in the current IVF cycle and feasibility of repeated IVF programs using patient’s own oocytes.
