SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to obstetrics, gynecology and reproductology. To predict result of extracorporal fertilisation and embryo transfer (ECF and ET) collection of anamnestic data is carried out at the first stage. At the next stage gynecological ultrasonic examination is performed. After that, performed is scrape of buccal epithelium to identify mutation of methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) gene in position C677T. Obtained results are introduced into formula for calculation of prognostic index P: P=0.06×X1+0.58×X2+0.66×X3-1.12×X4+1.1× X5+1.0×X6-2.31, where X1 is age, complete years, X2 stands for sexually transmitted diseases in anamnesis, if yes - 1, if no - 0, X3 stands for ablation of one or both tubes in anamnesis, is yeas - 1, if no - 0, X4 stands for pregnancy abortion, if yes - 1, if no - 0, X5 stands for reduction of ovarian reserve by ultrasonic examination data, if yes - 1, if no - 0, X6 stands for mutation of MTHFR C677T gene, if yes - 1, if no - 0, Const=-2.31. If P value higher than 0.11 is obtained, unfavourable outcome of ECF and ET is predicted, absence of pregnancy. If obtained P value is lower than -0.21, conclusion about favourable outcome of ECF and ET is made, pregnancy. If P value is higher than -0.21 and lower than 0.11, prognosis is undefined.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to predict ECF and ET result in infertile women at the stage of preparation for programme performance.
