FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: mechanism comprises casing 1, actuating mechanism 2, for example spool valve, movable return member 3, return spring 4, bushing 5 with straight slots 6 and inclined slots 7. Return member is connected by movable joint 11 with actuating mechanism. For changing the operating mode of actuating mechanism 2, for example for switching over the spool valve to side flushing, return member is actuated to compress return spring 4. As return member moves, guide members in inclined slots 7 turn said member and, via movable joint, the actuating mechanism 2. As return member is relieved, it comes back to initial position, guide members slide in straight slots 6 thus fixing said member against turning and preventing the actuating mechanism from undesirable change of operating mode. As return member is actuated again, it goes down, turns through to the next step and gets fixed in position. EFFECT: improved design. 4 cl, 7 dwg
