SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of petroleum industry, in particular, to the device for separation of liquids with the different density and may be used in the processes of purification of water from the oil products. The device includes: the chamber of coalescence (3) with the branch pipe (2) for the mixture delivery to the inlet and with the double-layer mesh (4) and with the coalescing material between the layers on the outlet; the body with branch pipes of withdrawal of the light liquid (5) and the heavy liquid (6) made in the form of the sleeves with the perforated lateral surfaces arranged inside the body (1) along its axis. The cylinders (7) and (8) are mounted on the perforated sleeves with the capability of motion along the surfaces. The bottoms of the cylinders (7) and (8) are connected among themselves by the rigid link (10) with the floater (9) in the middle. The chamber of the coalescence (3) is joined to the middle part of the lateral surface of the body (1). The invention ensures the increased quality of separation of the liquids and the reliability of the device operation in the cases of the dominating contents of the light or the heavy liquid in the mixture.
