FIELD: exploitation and repair of pipelines. SUBSTANCE: in a pipeline a means for applying an adhesive is mounted followed by additional elastic tore 4 and housing 7 having rollers 6 and sharp projections 8. Rollers 6 and tore 4 are encompassed by endless strips 5 made of a porous material. Additional tore 4 has a hollow which can be filled with adhesive. As tore 4 with housing 7 approaches an air hole, the pressure drop occurs between them, tore 4 is subsequently caused to slow down, rollers 6 are thrown aside and cone 7 under excessive pressure punctures hollow tore 4 by sharp projections 8. On entering the central opening of tore 4 housing 7 presses the tore and strips 5 to the inner surface of the pipeline to have the air hole closed.
