FIELD: office equipment. SUBSTANCE: file box consists of two parts flexibly connected one to another and has a pair of rectangular wall members. Each wall member has at least one more wall member rigidly connected to it at the right angle in such a way as to form a box, when all members are connected, able to accommodate a concertina-like card file. Each box part has a pair of opposite butt walls cut in such a way as to engage the respective cut butt walls of another box part. The flexible box part connection is disposed along the common lateral edge of two rectangular wall members. The box butt walls are diagonally divided starting from the joining edge. A wall member and the corresponding concertina-like card file side are bearing engaging each another locking means members. The larger wall member is made plank-like to be open.
