SUBSTANCE: device specially features combination with protective element made with possible detachment, which may be inserted into device for preventing extraction of information carriers from device due to blocking of device in closed position and/or due to holding of information carriers relatively to device. Device is useable, for example due to making of one or more grooves in it, for insertion of a part of protective element into it, and protective element has at least one shelf meant for insertion into device. Described also are modifications of device, providing for possible insertion of protective element into it, and also various types of protective elements. Described additionally is device for unblocking protective element and providing for its possible removal from device holding the information carrier.
EFFECT: improved protection of information carriers.
