FIELD: foundry practice. SUBSTANCE: for efficient control of both the shape typical to the charge surface located at the blast furnace mouth and of the velocity characteristic of the stocks lowered along the furnace periphery a zone is instrument determined having deviations and a depressed level of charge. Garage positions for a distributing pan are computed so that the stock can start discharging. Batches of coke and iron-containing material must be discharged in pairs so that the stock shape misalignment can be eliminated. In the furnace the stock is lowered along the mouth periphery with a uniform velocity when the stock of one type is discharged. EFFECT: more precise control. 3 tbl
