FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, in particular to the domain of manufacture. Method of loading a blast furnace equipped with a chute infinite charging device includes screening charge materials, their dosing, the formation of iron ore and coke portions, in the head part of which doses of the undersize fractions of iron ore materials are injected, the loading of the formed portions into the blast furnace and their distribution according to a given program at the furnace top. When forming portions containing the undersize fractions of iron ore materials, the mass of the dose of these fractions, loaded as part of one portion, is determined according to the formula proposed in the invention.
EFFECT: technical result achieved when applying the proposed method is to reduce the district non-uniformity of the charge, stabilize the progress of the blast smelting, reducing the wear rate of the lining of the mine, increasing the duration of its operation, reducing the specific consumption of coke and increasing the productivity of the blast furnace.
