FIELD: long-cut materials production. SUBSTANCE: device has housing 1, drive 2, differential mechanism 6, intake-feed unit 3 in form of reel 30 for round-section material 32. Intake-feed unit 3 is rigidly coupled with first output shaft 26 of differential mechanism 6 whose input shaft 21 is kinematically coupled with output shaft 12 of drive 2. Device has torque control device 4 made in form of at least one drive roller 18 and one pressure roller 19 engaging with material 32. Drive roller 18 is kinematically coupled with second output shaft 27 of differential mechanism 6. Device has material layer 31 whose driving member 33 is kinematically coupled with first output shaft 26 of differential mechanism 6. Drive roller 18 and pressure roller 19 are made for axial travel and are kinematically coupled with driven member 34 of carrier 35 of layer 31. Offered is design version of device in form of tape transport for recording and reproduction of data. EFFECT: simplified design of angular velocity control systems of winding/unwinding device by changing tension of material at change in diameter of winding. 2 cl, 7 dwg
