FIELD: compacting of railway ballast. SUBSTANCE: tie-tamping device has a frame mounted on vertical guides and linked with the drive for moving two double-arm levers on these guides, in the middle part these levers are hinge-joined to opposite eccentrics of the eccentric shaft mounted on the frame. The upper arms of the levers are hinge-joined to the rods of the common double-acting hydraulic cylinder, whose rod and rodless spaces are connected with the machine hydraulic system. Tampers are installed in the lower part of the levers. The hydraulic cylinder barrel is hinge-joined to the frame by an inclined tie-rod. Tie tampers carry out ellipsoidal vibrations at vibrocompression of ballast under the tie. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 2 dwg
