FIELD: test technology. SUBSTANCE: installation has a body carrying the drive and shaft. Secured on the shaft are frames with crosspieces in the form of cylinders that accommodate power springs, whose one ends are connected with screws, and the other - with pushers installed in the respective frames. The other ends of the pushers carry carriages whose axes mount rollers that periodically get engaged with the respective cams secured on one arms of the levers of the first order. The other arms of these levers are linked with the respective active grips of specimens. Spring forces, preliminarily built up by screws, are transferred to the respective specimens at periodic engagement of the rollers with the respective cams. As a result, some specimens are subjected to cyclic tension - compression, some - to alternating bending, and some specimens - to alternating twisting. When different forces in the springs are set and the shaft is rotated, different cycles of loading are produced, and their influence on fatigue resistance is examined.
