FIELD: test technique. SUBSTANCE: facility base mounts chain transmission built up of sprockets having different radii. Fixed on chain sections are guides accommodating inertia masses with passive grips and disks with active grips. Disks are joined with guides. Pair of coaxial single-arm levers is fixed to each inertia mass and to each disk. Loaders are attached to guides and have rollers running over cams when guides go round sprockets and compress springs whose efforts are transmitted to levers creating torsion of specimen. In addition, while guides are running over sprockets, inertia masses create axial efforts within specimen due to inertia forces. Cycle with desired quantity of pulses, their lengths and levels is afforded due to installation of proper number of sprockets of desired radii, selection of chain mass and speed, characteristics of springs and their sagging. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities due to provision for testing specimens not only at multipulse rippling action of axial effort in each cycle but also in case of continuous axial effort in each cycle but also during action of torque. 4 cl, 5 dwg
