FIELD: chemistry and medicine. SUBSTANCE: diagnostic device for immunochemical assay incorporates attachment on all sides guarding receiving insert member made of macroporous hydrophilic material. Attachment includes sample dosing device made in the form of through holes made in wall and communicating with inner sample accumulating reservoir made up by space confined by insert surface and attachment internal surface. In order to prevent sample from entering housing bypassing insert, diagnostic device has sealing members and buffer reservoir in upper and lower portions of housing where latter fades out into attachment. For taking samples, diagnostic device attachment must be immersed in liquid to be assayed. EFFECT: disclosed diagnostic device simplifies process of dosing assay liquid; prevents possible errors that may be caused by changing duration of staying in submerged position, position of diagnostic device and inaccurate indication of instant of termination of reaction and inexact recording of assay results. 2 cl, 5 dwg
