GYNECOLOGICAL CONTRIVANCE Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: contrivance has two-flap mirror and handle, provided with mechanism for moving flaps of the mirror apart. There is laser channel between flaps of the mirror. The channel is made in form capillary pipe. Fiber light guide is mounted inside with pipe for fixed movement. Laser channel is erected on the manipulator for rotation. Removable tips shells for one-time application are put onto laser channel and flaps of the mirror. When placing flaps of the mirror inside vagina and using mechanism for moving flaps of mirror apart, fiber light guide of laser channel is guided onto the damaged place and this place is irradiated for preset period of time. After the treatment is finished, the contrivance is pulled out. It should be preliminary disconnected from light source. Removable shells should be removed from flaps of mirror as well.
