FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has light guiding cable, end piece manufactured from transparent material, forming member, holder handle, means to connect and fix them. The end piece is rod with rounded working part and non-through axial channel for light guiding cable fibers to be placed in it. The forming member is made as a whole with the end piece and positioned on the dead end of the channel in front of the working part. The connecting and fixing means is collet chuck formed by cut conic bushing and union nut having internal part conjugated with threaded part. The conic bushing is made as a whole with the holder handle and has common axial channel, at least in the area belonging to the working part, and an opening on the opposite part for the cable to be put in. The cone generatrix makes an angle of 1.5-2.5 deg with the longitudinal axis and that of the union nut is 2.5-3.0 deg greater than that of the bushing. EFFECT: wide range of applications. 6 cl, 4 dwg
