FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: calender has two shafts arranged one above the other, one of which is heated and provided with tenon, and stem-condensate-sealing unit and two jackets with circular space between them for steam sealed at end faces through packing rings, and steam generator communicated through steam-condensate lines with heated shaft. Outer jacket of heated shaft is made with two recesses accumulating condensate, one of which is connected through steam line with steam generator, and the other, receives condensate baffles and communicates through siphon half-circle scooping tubes with steam-condensate-sealing unit. Jackets have holes in their end faces. Steam generator is installed below the heated shaft through value of static head of main circulating system and connected through condensate line having check valve with steam-condensate-sealing unit.
