FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: machining is carried out with a tool in the form of broach with sections 18, 19, 20 with spiral teeth 2 mutually movable along the axle. In this case rotary and axial displacement are conveyed to the tool by the value in conditions of providing for the permissible torque. After that the progressive displacement is conveyed to the tool in the reverse direction resulting in the section consequent shifting from the side of the incision surface into the blank. The tool is made in the form of hollow bushes 6,7 with teeth 2 and tail ends 8. Tail ends 8 with protrusions 10 are located in cavity 9 of the subsequent bush and are designed to interact with inner face ends 11. The teeth profile in the cross-section normal to the tool axle has marker configuration, in the axial cross-section - the configuration of broach with teeth disposed staggered. The difference of lengths of cavities 9 and protrusions 10 exceeds the pitch of the tool opposite teeth. EFFECT: simpler design. 2 cl, 4 dwg
