FIELD: vacuum engineering. SUBSTANCE: steam-jet vacuum pump has housing 1 with inlet branch pipe 2. Arranged in housing 1 are: steam line 3 with nozzle 4 mounted along axis of the housing, casing 5 (with hot-water boiler 6 and heater 7 inside it) connected to the lower portion of housing 1 forming chamber 8 between casing 5 and hot-water boiler 6 and outlet branch pipe 9. Pump is provided with taper ferrule 10 whose large base is secured in the lower portion of housing 1 and its small base is directed towards hot-water boiler 6 forming circular slit 11 which is used to bring the interior of housing 1 in communication with chamber 8 and heat-insulated uprights 12 mounted in between hot-water boiler 6 and casing 5. Outlet branch pipe is mounted on casing 5. EFFECT: reduction of power requirements and limiting residual pressure. 1 dwg
