FIELD: pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vacuum pumps. The diffusion vacuum pump comprises a detachable body with input and output branch pipes. The heating boiler for the working vapourising liquid is placed in the lower part of the body. The heater is placed along the axis of the body. The multistage vapour line with umbrella nozzles has inserts. A tube for rapid cooling of the working fluid is installed at the bottom of the boiler along the outer perimeter of the spiral heater. A screen is placed in the lower part of the body, covering the base of the vapour line. The pump has a tube for maintaining the prevacuum pressure in the cavity between the boiler and the body of the pump. A conical (composite) insert is installed vacuum-tightly, forming the flow part of the channel. The ratio of the diameter of the nozzle of the first stage to the diameter of the inlet of the pump is in the range of 1.35 to 1.45.
EFFECT: reduction in the reverse flow of vapours of the working fluid into the pumped volume, minimisation of the heat losses, ensured rapid cooling of the working fluid located in the boiler and emergency stopping of the pump in the event of sudden depressurisation.
