FIELD: vacuum engineering. SUBSTANCE: multi-stage steam-jet pump has housing 1 where steam line 2 with nozzles 3 is mounted; located on inner surface of housing 1 in area of second stage is circular insert 4 with narrowing passage area which is provided with guide ferrule 5 engageable with inner surface of insert 4 and located coaxially relative to steam line 2. Ferrule is embraced with screen fitted with drain cone in its lower portion. Pump is provided with heat insulation 6 mounted on outside of steam line 2 below nozzle holder of outlet stage; lower portion of ferrule 5 and part of steam line 2 which is opposite to it are made in form of torous surfaces 7 and 8 forming circular nozzle 9. Invention makes it possible to reduce hydraulic resistance at pump outlet and to improve condensation of working medium. EFFECT: extended range towards large inlet pressures and reduced power requirements. 1 dwg
