FIELD: room heating systems. SUBSTANCE: room air heater has housing with supports and air reflector. Lateral and rear walls of housing embrace casing. Chamber between walls and casing is divided by means of plates secured to it forming air ducts. Mounted in combustion chamber are fire grate and two movable plates arranged one above other. Distance between these plates is equal to 0.05 to 0.6 of the housing height and their total length exceeds length of housing. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 5 cl, 4 dwg
