FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device comprises drum 1 rigidly mounted in posts 2 and rockers 4 articulated on its surface parallel to its axis with stepped displacement from one edge of barrel to the other. Turning plane of each rocker is set at an angle to radial plane of drum 1 in the direction contrary to strip movement. Each rocker 4 is balanced with relation to articulated joint and carries a number of rollers 5 rotatably installed on axles. Said axles are inclined to longitudinal axis of corresponding rocker at an angle equal to helix angle of the formed spiral roller track. The ends of each rocker 4 carry rolls interacting with guides 8 made on drum 1 parallel to turning plane of rocker 4. Rockers 4 are spring-loaded in their turning plane.
