FIELD: rolled stock production. SUBSTANCE: accumulator has an outer and an inner drums for winding a strip, whose rollers may be moved radially. A roller guide of the inner drum is arranged along its perimeter, its rollers are provided by a rotation drive unit. Apparatus for guiding the strip in the of uncoiler and a stationary butt welding machine for joining ends of strips are mounted in a cavity of the drum. Between the uncoiler and the butt welding machine a stationary deflector is mounted. The strip is being fed from the outer drum to a discharging apparatus. The drums have grooves for strip passing; the inner drum is provided by pulling roller. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of strip coiling. 1 cl, 1 dwg
