FIELD: casting. SUBSTANCE: method includes periodic supplying of metal to moulding cavities, moving them under the bottom of casting ladle and removing ingots from molding cavities. In casting each ingot is conditioned in the molding cavity for (0,02...0,8)h2 min, where h is minimum cross-section of ingot expressed in centimeters. The device has casting ladle provided with openings in its bottom, fireproof plate with openings mounted without a space under the bottom of the ladle for movements, and mould plate. The device is provided with a plate cooled with water. The plate is interposed between the mould plate and fireproof plate. The mould plate is spring- loaded with respect to the ladle. Openings are made in the water cooled plate and mould plate which repeat arranging of the openings provided in the fireproof plate. Distances between axes of all openings are the same.
