FIELD: metal-halogen infrared lamps. SUBSTANCE: envelope made of optically transparent material with hermetically installed electrodes is filled with inert gas with additions to provide it with halides of radiating metals. Used are additions to provide envelope with cesium halides in amount from 0.2 to 15.0 mc·mol/cm3 and inert gas pressure is from 13.3 to 300.0 kPa. Additionally introduced into lamp envelope are additions to provide it with potassium halides in amount from 0.4 to 12.0 mc·mol/cm3 and additions to provide it with cadmium halides in amount from 0.3 to 12.0 mc·mol/cm3. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 3 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
