SUBSTANCE: synthesis of high-fluorinated alkane is carried out by fluorination with one molar equivalent of HF of a single halogen-olefin or halogen-hydrocarbon: CCl2=CCl2, CHCl=CCl2, CH2CCl2, CCl3-CHCl2, CF2Cl-CHCl2, CCl3-CH2Cl, CHCl2-CHCl2, CCl3-CH3 in the presence of catalyst - TaF5 taken at concentration 0.25 mole equivalent, not less, at ratio control: (5x + y)/z which is equal or less than (6-w), where x - catalyst moles; y - HF moles; z - initial halogenated compound moles; w - number of fluorine atoms in one mole of initial compound.
