FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: reagent 1: lower halide, alkene or lower haloidalkane. Reagent 2: HF in molar excess. Reaction conditions: at 35-150 C, under anhydrous conditions, catalyst - niobium pentachloride, reaction products are removed from the contact zone with catalyst. Synthesized fluoroalkane has at least by one fluorine atom more as compared with that in the parent product. Synthesized compounds are used as coolants, propellents, solvents. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis.
