Reagent 1: C5-fraction of medium- or high-temperature gasoline pyrolysis of the following composition, wt. -% : cyclopentadiene 10-20; pentanes 20-35; isoprene 10=20; piperylenes 13; olefins 10-35; C6-hydrocarbons and high-boiling products 2-20. Reagent 2: maleic anhydride. Reaction conditions: at 20-60 C, at addition of hydroquinone or p-tert.-butylpyrocabequine or 4-hydroxy-3,5-di-tert.-butylbenzyl taken at concentration 0.005-0.02 mole per 1 mole of maleic anhydride.
