FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: hothouse has skeleton made up of spiral members along which drum winches are installed in troughs filled with water. Transparent covering is secured on cables coupled with spiral members which have spring-loaded rods fitted in guides on rollers. If ambient air temperature is high enough, transparent covering is wound up on drum by winches, and if temperature is low, edges of transparent covering are placed in water-filled troughs.
