FIELD: pneumatic systems and heat-consuming apparatus. SUBSTANCE: condensate flows to housing 1 of steam trap where it is accumulated on its bottom 2. As condensate reaches screen 7 it flows to upper layer 6 of balls made of material whose specific density is less than that of condensate which floats and is held by screen 7. Seeping through capillary passages formed by part of balls of upper layer 6 which do not float and metal balls of lower layer 5, condensate is removed through outlet branch pipe 4.
