FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: blood smears are dried under vacuum following by their incubation in the medium containing 10 mg 3,3-diaminobenzidine tetrachloride in 0.2M tris-buffer, pH 7.5-7.7. Fixation is carried out after incubation. In this case peroxidasosomes are detected in neutrophils, monocytes and basophils. To detect activity in leucocytes incubation medium must contain 0.13M phosphate buffer. EFFECT: increased precision of activity assay due to enhanced safety of cells.
