FIELD: automatics, mainly traffic control in city condition. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of receiving an inquiry RF-signal in a traffic light, arranged on a crossroads, being controlled, irradiating response US-signals; calculating at the crossroads motion speed of transport vehicles, being spaced by distances S1...Si...Sn, Vнi=Si/tн3 ; Vкi=Si/tк3, necessary for crossing the crossroads by respective transport vehicle at a time moment tн3 of beginning and at a time moment tк3 of termination of action of nearest in time allowing signal of the traffic light; comparing speed values Vнi и Vкi with admissible speed motion value Vg on a way portion before the crossroads; and, if Vнi < Vg and Vкi < Vg, selecting for the transport vehicles, being spaced by a distance Si from the crossroads, respectively minimum and maximum speed values Vminci = Vкi and Vmaxi = Vнi; if Vнi ≥ Vg and Vкi < Vg, then Vmini = Vкi and Vmaxi= Vg; if Vнi ≥ Vg and Vкi ≥ Vg, then repeating calculation of speed values Vкi and Vнi and selection of Vmaxci and Vmini for transport vehicles, spaced from the crossroads by a distance Si, for time moments tнз and tкз , corresponding to next cycle (relative to a cycle, regarded beforehand) of the traffic light switching; irradiating from the traffic light RF-signals, carrying information about Vmini и Vmaxci in time intervals τi = Si/Vнз from a time moment of irradiation of response ultrasonic signal by the traffic light; receiving the response ultrasonic signals and the RF-signal, irradiated by the traffic light, by the transport vehicles; in transport vehicles taking off information, concentric Vmini and Vmaxci, if time moments of reception of respective ultrasonic and RF-signals are the same; maintaining the speed motion of the transport vehicle, spaced by the distance Si from the traffic light, in limits, restricted by Vmini and Vmaxci.
