FIELD: medicine, particularly, orthopedics and traumatology. SUBSTANCE: this method prescribes carrying out intertrochanteric osteotomy of femur, fixing fragments of femur in external fixation apparatus, securing distal fragment in position by pins, inserting threaded rods into proximal fragment up to zone of growth, repositioning femur fragment portionwise with correcting cervical diaphysial angle in frontal plane, angle in sagittal plane and antithyroid angle, and finally lateralizing distal fragment and elongating femur in zone of osteotomy. EFFECT: prevention of arthrosis and accurate correction of femoral fragments in post-operative period.
