FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves conducting wires through iliac bone wing, greater trochanter, middle and lower one-third of the femur, wire ends are fixed on supporting members of compression-distraction apparatus, supporting member on the iliac bone wing is connected to proximal femoral supporting member and the middle one is connected to the distal one on the femur. Intertrochanteric osteotomy of the femur is carried out in down-top direction and from outside to inside. Proximal femur portion deformity correction is carried out. Transverse osteotomy is carried out in the inferior femoral one-third. Intermediate femur fragment is medially shifted and fixed in achieved position. Wires are introduced through the greater trochanter and femoral neck. Wires are introduced through supra-acetabular area, curved as arcs, fixed and pulled to match the apparatus arch. Distraction between the middle and distal support members is carried out in leading temp along the external apparatus rods. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in building acetabular cavity roof, equalizing extremity lengths and normalizing biomechanical axis. 5 dwg
