FIELD: medicine, particularly, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: this method prescribes cutting out U-shape superficial scleral graft in lower section of eye with advancing into peripheral sections of cornea, additionally cutting out second smaller rectangular surface graft more distally relative to first graft and along its lower edge, second smaller rectangular surface graft having base lying on continued lateral facet of first graft, cutting strips out of deep scleral layers in the form of rectangles whose longitudinal axes are parallel to longitudinal axis of first rectangle, leaving minimum inner layer of sclera, making through trepanation openings in their peripheral portions, and finally inserting additional surface scleral graft into these through trepanation openings.
