FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves forming deep scleral flap 1 mm distant from Schlemm canal by cutting out U-shaped sclera flap turned with its base to equator and having 2 x 4 mm dimensions. The flap is cut into two strips. Peripheral layers of the cornea are removed to descemetous coat without opening the anterior chamber. Iris area having no blood vessels is selected. Iris root coagulation is carried out through descemetous membrane and 1.5-1.6 mm cruciform incision of the descemetous coat and trabecula is done above it. Iridectomy is carried out with top of protruding iris removed to form fistula into the posterior chamber. Cyclodialysis is carried out and deep sclera layers strips prepared in advance are placed into suprachoroid space in various directions. EFFECT: high hypotensive effectiveness; stimulated uveoscleral discharge; reduced risk of postoperative complications. 5 dwg
