FIELD: production of imitation lining leather. SUBSTANCE: nonwoven needle-punched base material is impregnated with polymeric composition based on anionic polyurethane dispersion in amount of 100 mas. parts, in mixture with polyvinyl alcohol 10-30 mas. parts, oxalic acid 0.1-0.3 mas. part; glycerin 10-20 mas. parts; oxyethylated polyethylene glycol 0.5-1.5 mas. parts; and dye 0.09-1.3 mas.parts at 20-40 C, pressed out at squeezing pressure in impregnation bath of 2.5-4.0 atm., dried at 130-150 C with material motion speed of 4-5 m/ min, graded and finished with printing. Leather has steam permeability of 12.9-13.9 mg/sq.m s, hygroscopicity 15.7-16.2%, and water yielding capacity 10.8-12.4%. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 tbl
