FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: method involves taking off of methane fraction containing nitrogen, argon, krypton and xenon, low-temperature separation of mixture in one- or two-column fractionating system, removal from the scheme yielded methane containing nitrogen and argon, and utilization of methane fraction for ammonia production. Obtained krypton-xenon concentrate is heated, and oxidizable components are burnt out by oxygen feeding to concentrate following by cooling of mixture prepared and its purification from water, carbon dioxide and oxygen. The main impurities of water, carbon dioxide and oxygen are separated firstly by diaphragm method and fine purification is carried out by adsorption on the solid sorbents. The end product contains 98.3 vol.% basic substance. Method is used for preparing of krypton-xenon concentrate. EFFECT: improved method of preparing. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
