FIELD: mechanical engineering; devices for collecting gases in electrolyzers designed for electrically reducing aluminum and equipped with Sederberg's anode. SUBSTANCE: this devise includes large number of rising closing plates which span entire area between furnace side walls and anode body, connected to anode body periphery and furnace side walls and isolated from gas. Closing plates have large number of ribs on their upper sides. Channel accommodating lower plate, inclined plate and upper plate is inserted into depression between ribs.
