FIELD: nitrogen and sulfur oxide control. SUBSTANCE: reactor is essentially afterburner which should be installed and connected downstream of combustion chamber. Reactor has vessel built up of cylindrical section turning into dome-shaped exhaust section on top which has vent hole. Heat insulating enclosure is built around reactor vessel, its inner surface being actually of same shape as vessel. Enclosure is eccentric in respect to vessel. Reactor vessel has conical barrier whose top faces vent hole. Clearance is provided between enclosure and vessel. Intake funnel on exhaust end of enclosure is spaced at definite distance from intake end so as to form clearance there. Heat exchanger is used to preheat secondary air supplied through secondary-air admission device to clearance between vessel and enclosure at definite distance from hole. Clearance communicates at its bottom with storage bin and exhaust pipe. EFFECT: nitrogen and sulfur oxide content. 5 cl, 4 dwg
