FIELD: electronic engineering. SUBSTANCE: electronic switch has high-voltage static-induction transistor 1 whose gate is connected via first switch 2 and resistor 4 series-connected with the latter to positive power bus and via second switch 3 and second resistor 5 parallel-connected to the latter, to negative power; source is connected to common power bus and drain is connected to load. Control input of first switch is connected to trigger bus 10 and that of second switch, to output of cutoff pulse shaper 7 whose input is connected to trigger bus 10. Nonlinear negative feedback is introduced in device and it has third resistor 6, capacitor 8, and diode 9; cathode is connected to capacitor whose other lead is connected to transistor gate and to third resistor whose other lead is connected to common wire. EFFECT: improved speed of response, limited forward gate current which reduces stored charge in transistor gate region and on-time of switch. 2 dwg, 1 tbl
