FIELD: electrostatic separation of particles. SUBSTANCE: device has additional top electrodes, lower electrode rotation drive and diaphragm made in form of conic surface of current-conducting material with holes. Lower electrode is made in form of a cone which has polished working surface. Angles at vertexes of cones of lower electrode and diaphragm are equal. Top electrodes are made with concave working surface and mounted radially under the lower electrode at some distance one from another. Value of distance between lower and top electrodes decreases along the direction of rotation of lower electrode. Diaphragm is placed between lower and top electrodes and mounted in align to lower electrode. Sized of holes of the diaphragm increases along the generatrix of the cone to the direction of its vertex in the direction of rotation of lower electrode. Holes in diaphragm are disposed under top electrodes. Particle collectors are placed under edge of lower electrodes at points where holes of diaphragm are located. Lower electrode, diaphragm and particle collectors are connected with earthed pole of power supply. EFFECT: improved reliability; improved efficiency. 4 dwg
