FIELD: diagnostics of technical conditions of transport means. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of speeding up a suspended wheel up to a predetermined speed value with elimination of an outer action upon wheels; performing a braking beginning up to a complete arresting of each wheel; upon braking process continuously measuring time periods, corresponding to rotation of the wheel by adjacent and equal angular intervals with predetermined values; according to results, had been received, detecting a dependance of the wheel deceleration from time; determining parameters of the braking process and discriminating a technical condition of the braking system.
