SUBSTANCE: glass has, wt.-%: silicon oxide 34.3-58.2; boron oxide 10.5-17.0; sodium oxide 7.8-15.3; lithium oxide 2.9-5.5; calcium oxide 5.6-7.7; magnesium oxide 0.01-2.8; aluminium oxide 0.4-1.7; zinc oxide 0.01-1.6; antimony oxide 0.01-0.5; lead oxide 1.2-16.5; bismuth oxide 6.2-29.1, and vanadium oxide 0.01-9.3. Glass properties: CTE (coefficient of thermal expansion) is (108-128) x (108-128)·10-7 1/degree, spreading temperature is 625-645 C, microhardness is 790-870 kgf/mm2. Glass is used for making of magnetic heads for sound- and videorecording devices and computing equipment. EFFECT: enhanced quality of glass. 2 tbl
