FIELD: ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: charge for blast furnace melting comprising ore component in the form of fluxed agglomerate, basicity 2.0-3.5, damped agglomerate and pellets, basicity 0.2-0.9, is additionally treated with vanadium-containing slag, basicity 3.31, while damped slag is constituted by boron-containing agglomerate , basicity 1.1-1.3 at the following ratio of components, wt.-%: fluxed agglomerate, basicity 2.0-3.5, 20-55; boron-containing agglomerate, basicity 1.1-1.3 , 3-10; vanadium-containing slag, basicity 3.31, 2-10: pellets, basicity 0.2-0.9, the balance. The fluxed agglomerate may contain 0.1-1.0 of barium oxide or strontium oxide while damped agglomerate, 0.1-1.0 of boron oxide. EFFECT: higher output, reduced coke consumption, lower content of sulfur in cast iron. 3 tbl
