SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ferrous metallurgy, in particular, to the charge for production of vanadium cast iron. The charge comprises high-basic agglomerate and/or non-fluxed pellets, blast furnace vanadium-containing iron flux, iron- and vanadium-containing additives, metallurgical and pitch coke, at the same time the ratio of the pitch coke to the metallurgical coke makes 1:(7.5-200), and the specified components are contained at the following ratio, wt %: iron-containing additives - 0.3-2.0, vanadium-containing additives - 0.2-1.5, metallurgical coke - 15-20, pitch coke - 0.1-2.0, blast furnace vanadium-containing iron flux - 6.0-12.0, high-basic agglomerate and/or non-fluxed pellets - balance.

EFFECT: usage of the invention provides for reduction of specific coke consumption, increased stability of blast furnace operation and its increased efficiency.
