FIELD: hardening heat treatment of steels. SUBSTANCE: steel part is heated 3-4 times to temperatures above Ac1 at the rate of 150-180 C/min, and cooled. Between heating cycles steel is cooled in the air while in the last cycle to 650-630 c in the air then in oil at 80-90 C. EFFECT: disclosed treatment produces finely-dispersed martensitic structure with uniform distribution of residual austenite in martensitic die, characterized by high wear resistance. 2 cl
